The best theory I’ve heard that kind of fits all the weird choices is that Roman signs the contract to face Rock at Mania…and then Cody officially picks Roman and he’s forced to wrestle on both nights. It would explain why Cody didnt challenge Seth and is still holding his title shot. It would explain why other wrestlers are still talking about coming for Seth’s title. It would explain why they haven’t announced the men’s chamber match yet. If Cody is wrestling Seth…they don’t need a chamber match for his challenger. Punk was supposed to win the chamber according to Meltzer…so it was a planned match in Perth. And Seth has no challenger yet because Cody didn’t do it.

on one hand…I like the idea of someone finally outsmarting Roman and putting his title reign in real peril. He never defends it and never wrestles…and now he has two giant main events back to back.

on the other hand…Cody flat out saying he wasn’t coming for Roman at Mania is just a lie. Which is weird….but everyone would be happy anyway.

My guess is Roman vs Rock on Saturday. Roman vs Cody on Sunday…with Rock running out to take out interference and get a giant pop to cover for his loss the night before and the build that made fans turn on him.

Of course, if they were REALLY crazy they would do all that and Rock would cost Cody instead…and take his place at Roman’s side after Roman beats him for head of the table the night before. Imagine how mad people would be then.
Interesting theory but what happens if Roman took a major injury on night one. Say he blew out his knee and couldn't walk on it the next day. Now you have a night 2 main event that can't happen. It's got to be one or the other for Roman and as much as some fans don't like it, we're getting a bloodline battle between Rock and Roman. I think Cody goes into a triple threat match with Seth and Drew with Priest cashing in during that match. Cody will be the guy to take the title from Roman but it's going to be after WM.

This could very possibly be the last time WWE gets a chance at The Rock vs Roman at Wrestlemania with Rock's movie schedule and his age. I don't see how they don't take advantage of having this match in April.....

Dave says he’s being told the plan is still Dwayne/Roman 1v1, but doesn’t seem convinced. But we will know by the end of this press event.

I wonder if Cody changes his mind but then Dwayne invokes his rematch clause as he never got a championship rematch after losing at WM '29.
