Think you have to designate that the losing brand can protect somebody (Or multiple people) though.

Like, if RAW were to win, we all know WWE isn't going to handicap Smackdown by taking LA Knight off the show. But it looks really dumb when LA Knight is selectable and Pearce comes out talking about how he got a steal picking Santos Escobar lol.
Maybe they can protect 5 men and 3 women or something like that.

You have to make it hurt, but you don't want to move someone getting pushed for a world title or IC title reign or a jobber.

It'd essentially be the same as a KO talent going to SD. A name, but not the top draw.

Like, I remember the old drafts where the GMs actually picked people and it wasn't "Computer randomized". And the GM would pick a guy that had no business going before a handful of other people, and you'd roll your eyes at it.

The draft is a huge joke, honestly. The presentation is remarkably hilarious.
I understand it's a financial gain, but the brand split is probably the worst thing about WWE (now that Vince is out). It's always been terrible. It would be so much better if it just operated as one entity.

It's because the brand split never actually ends up being a brand split. You have guys running around on different shows all the time. There's no consistency.

Looks like they've updated their schedule for early 2024. Couldn't help but notice this combo, although it probably wouldn't be worth three vacation days for me.

The only caveat I'd add is that it can't be an active champion. Anyone else is fair game.

Makes sense. I never liked how they would "swap" belts during drafts/shake-ups. Then time when I believe it was the Street Profits and the New Day literally traded the tag belts after another draft/shake-up in 2020 was ridiculous and awful.

The draft itself is stupid, but there is nothing wrong with soft brand spilts with how big the roster is.
I think the split limits good story-line potential. Now you get a ton of repeat matches, the tag division has been garbage forever, and it would be awesome to expand the women's division.

Diamond Mine coming to RAW to wrestle Alpha Academy. This is going to be really good

Fixed.

With both shows on USA, is there need for the brand split even? Or could they just limit certain people, that don't need to be on both shows?

Nattie has broken out her twitter assistant Bob to spar with Chelsea (and Cardona too).

I'll never understand how she can be so much better at shit on twitter then she ever is on TV
