A lot of the non-playoff teams will rip off a stretch like that because a lot of the other teams are going to start playing youth and giving their farm some reps before the season ends for the non-playoff teams and the playoff teams will start implementing load management.LOL, was going through the NHL standings (Flames fans do this regularly these days) and saw Buffalo was 8-2 in their last 10.
Good time to rip off a good winning streak, right at the end of season to ruin the draft pick.
Buffalo really is in it's own league of incompetence.

Yeah, more draft picks are certainly what they need. That's the problem. Not enough draft picks.LOL, was going through the NHL standings (Flames fans do this regularly these days) and saw Buffalo was 8-2 in their last 10.

This literally makes no sense he was playing perfectly fine on the Sabres and then they used his value to acquire a different young defenseman with a lot of promise instead because they didn't want to pay him...Did you actually bother to read what I wrote? That's exactly the point.
OK, here is it again
"It's the consistent inability to take raw talent, develop him, and bring him to the NHL level and keep him there."
