WTF with Buffalo?

LOL, was going through the NHL standings (Flames fans do this regularly these days) and saw Buffalo was 8-2 in their last 10.

Good time to rip off a good winning streak, right at the end of season to ruin the draft pick.

Buffalo really is in it's own league of incompetence.

Buffalo should have never hired Lindy Ruff and they should have fired Adams a long time ago. That franchise needs a culling at all levels of management and build that out. When you have incompetent upper management and then ownership that sticks its nose where it doesn't belong with wanting control, you never see a team do well.

That franchise will never get back to the playoffs until they realize the issues are within and finally start to catch up to the league with just the basics for how their franchise is run. I feel for the lads that play for them and want to be there to see the rise back into the playoffs, but it's hard to when the players work hard to move forward and the team takes 10 steps back with how they run the team into the ground.

A lot of the non-playoff teams will rip off a stretch like that because a lot of the other teams are going to start playing youth and giving their farm some reps before the season ends for the non-playoff teams and the playoff teams will start implementing load management.

It's where the ignorant dipshits that prop Mike Sullivan up in the Pens media, make their bread and butter - "OMG YINZERS, LOOK AT MIKE'S FINAL DOZEN GAMES! GOAT" *ignores insane failure for 8+ seasons*....

They are 35-37-6
They had streaks of 0-10-3 ( US thxgvg-xmas) and 0-5-1( in march)

In 8 games they had 2 goal leads at anytime in a game and blew the load going 0-5-3. About 75% of the loses were 1 goal ir less deficits in the 3rd. Take 6 of these games and force OT and win half of those and its 9 pts.
They are bottom quarter in PP%
They are up near the top of the league in lines when having a goal lead at any time in the game

They are 11 pts out. Snall mm margins and they could be in playoffs.

Start of 25/26...Power will be just 22.

You think Dahlin cares about Power's age or about winning? Geoff Sanderson's son is also 22 and made the US 4 Nations team where he was an impact player and now his team made the playoffs as well for the 1st time in 7 or 8 years. No one's saying Power has to be Slavin in his own end just not a baby soft train-wreck.

Oh my god not our draft pick in a below average draft going from 5th to 8th. Oh no!!! Those 3 spots were gonna really turn us around!

Thank god HF’s sharpest minds are here to crack the case. Will call up the team and tell them to start losing again.

Same posters if we tank will be in here in 3 years saying Buffalo should’ve tried to make roster moves to start winning so Dahlin didn’t leave. Vultures.

Who made that? It’s good.

Yeah, more draft picks are certainly what they need. That's the problem. Not enough draft picks.

Did you actually bother to read what I wrote? That's exactly the point.

OK, here is it again

"It's the consistent inability to take raw talent, develop him, and bring him to the NHL level and keep him there."
This literally makes no sense he was playing perfectly fine on the Sabres and then they used his value to acquire a different young defenseman with a lot of promise instead because they didn't want to pay him...

I’m curious as to who Sabres fans may think their next coach will be, or how long Ruff will still be around. Same with Adams. Gotta think it’s getting close to the end for him.
