Ehlers, Copp, Perfetti, Gustafsson, Suess are all out for us right now, and unlike on D, we don't have much in terms of NHL ready bodies in the AHL. I don't think he'll stay long with the Jets, but he might dress.

Can we just stop being a dick to this poor man and let him find a place to live?
The guy is from Winnipeg. We're putting a stop to this nonsense and bringing him home.

Good to read some of these posts - Winnipeg seems like a good spot for him to land now.

If he can't capitalize on this opportunity he should just find a place in Europe to enjoy.

Kind of grinded my gears with this move. Hopefully, Winnipeg has less than a months worth of work for him and the Leafs/Marlies regain him for their playoff runs.

The Leafs really like him, even if it's just in the AHL. I'm sure even if he doesn't stick, they'll be happy to pay him as much as he could make in most European leagues, to play with the Marlies.

Warm body to cover for all our missing roster players right now.

I'm sure he would rather be claimed and continue making an NHL salary then clearing waivers and making his AHL salary......poor kid.
I'm watching his career earnings continue to climb. That's good with me. He makes $750,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL. If he keeps getting claimed and avoids demotion, that's all good.

100%. I laugh at the 'poor kid' comments
