Lmao let’s name a few:

Draisaitl, Hedman, Hughes, Makar, Mackinnon, Thompson, Eichel, Fox, Kyrou, Laine, Marner, Matthews, Nylander, Point, Stamkos, Kucherov, Kaprizov, Marchand, McAvoy, Lindholm(either), Aho, Svechnikov, Necas, Panarin, Zibanejad, Kreider, Tkachuk(either), Barkov, Ekblad, Rantanen, Landeskog, Gaudreau, Josi, Pastrnak, Pettersson, Stutzle, Keller, Scheifele, Connor, Ehlers, Hischier, Meier, Larkin, Morrissey, Dahlin, Guentzel, Bratt, McCann, Buchnevich, Suzuki, Caufield, Power, Tuch, Shesterkin, Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Hellebuyck

After that maybe he’s in the conversation. All of these players are far more valuable considering age, ability, and contract. If age isn’t a consideration(like if they were gunning for a Cup before their core got too old) Bergeron, Pietrangelo, Doughty, Kopitar, Tarasenko, Hamilton among others are far better players right now, but their age or contract situation might make them slightly less valuable. Hintz is a very ordinary player. There will be at least 15 players drafted this year who have better careers.
Fun take Jose! You just invented your own league whithout a salarycap, with endless contracts and with owners who`s pockets are endlessly deep? Obviously you have clever GM:s too. Tuch, McCann, Bratt, Guentzel, Meier, Larkin, Ehlers, Laine, Kreider, Svechnikov, Necas, Nylander, Laine and Kyrou are good choices. All of them are PPG+ centers with better stats...

I take it back this is the craziest thing I've ever seen. At least half the players you listed aren't better than Hintz.

There's more than a few names I disagree with here, and I'm not even a stars fan.

Hintz is pretty good. For example I think including names like Kyrou, Suzuki, Caufield, Laine, Necas, Ekblad, Landeskog, Guentzel, Buchnevich, Power, Tuch etc shows that you have no idea how good he is and you're just throwing out names.

Dude, I would trade Kyrou or Buchnevich for a player like Hintz without a second thought, and Dallas would laugh me off the phone for even offering them. The majority of the players you listed are NOT better than Hintz is, even though I do think that he's bordering on overrated nowadays.

Where are the "Hintz is worse than Bratt, Kyrou, Laine etc." guys now?

"2 almost 40 goal seasons"
"On pace for over 50 multiple seasons"
"If not injured, would've scored 40"

Does any else hate these kind of descriptions for a player? Any reason we can't just say "scored 37 goals the past two seasons"? Why do we need to stretch stats to these weird arbitrary landmarks when discussing our favourite players?

This is like the HF way of 5'10 guys advertising themselves as "around 6'" on dating apps
