Paul Pageau: Paul made his only National Hockey League appearance on February 3, 1981, against the defending Stanley Cup champion New York Islanders. Pageau and the Los Angeles Kings were overwhelmed on this night by an 8-1 margin, with Pageau stopping 26 shots. Eight different Islanders tallied in the victory.

Ron Loustel gave up 10 goals. He very well could be the worst goaltender to EVER be drafted, EVER play in the NHL, and one of the worst goaltenders to EVER play hockey in a junior league equivalent or higher.

5.60 GAA on the Saskatoon Blades
10 GAA with the Winnipeg Jets
10.34 GAA with the Tulsa Oilers in the CHL

As a 20 year old in the WHL had a 7.08 GAA with the Brandon Wheat Kings.

His 10 GA is the NHL record for most GA in an NHL debut.

Guy he shared the net with in that 5.60 season had a 6.01GAA. In the 7.08 season, the other goalie was some guy named Ron Hextall who had a 5.77GAA. As for save percentage, 859 hextall, 833 loustel.

His only nhl game is atrocious but his junior stats look pretty average for the era.

Also looks like Winnipeg had a shitty game, Loustel saved 41 of 51 shots.

That was an emergency call up, wasn't it? He's no David Ayres but he shouldn't have even been in the NHL that night. Was it vs STL? I almost managed to suppress that memory lol.
