Nurse has looked better this year, and McAvoy might not be living up to his contract, but I'm not sure it's in the top 5.Nurse
Pettersson
Huberdeau
McAvoy
Shesterkin (when new one kicks in)
it's in my top 5 ...... Nurse looking better. Hard not too.Nurse has looked better this year, and McAvoy might not be living up to his contract, but I'm not sure it's in the top 5.
Not honorable. He should be #1. He is making $7 million per season and he should be either making league minimum at best or on a two-way contract. He is not an NHL calibre player anymore and hasn't been for some time.Honorable mention: Vlasic
It's just 1 more year after this though. Not honorable. He should be #1. He is making $7 million per season and he should be either making league minimum at best or on a two-way contract. He is not an NHL calibre player anymore and hasn't been for some time.
All the other players here are still capable and in almost all cases are still top-4 d-men or top-6 forwards. I'm surprised most people don't have Vlasic as number 1. One of the worst contracts in league history given that as soon as it kicked in he was awful and barely an NHL d-man.
The terrible western Canadian trifecta.Huberdeau, Pettersson, Nurse
the holy trinity
I don't watch hockeyI swear, the collective hockey knowledge on this website drops by the day. Literally. At this point it’s only worth being here for the lulz.
keep hearing this, if dude look like he'd touched a weight since he'd been drafted I'd be more sympathetic. If you don't physically prepare like a pro then it's not really a fluke when your body breaks down. That's an issue that isn't going to get better with age either.Anyone putting Petterson in their worst contracts is being absurd, Petey has clearly been playing through an injury, while he underperformed this clearly isn't him at his best.
