Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Spott, lost this team. Top line Double shift, unacceptable. Horrible horrible horrible Dman pairings, just astonishing how badly thought out they are.

I went into this tournament being very neutral on Ryan Murphy. Watching his play, he really pisses me off out there.

It's ridiculous how much ice he was given when this team went down 4-1. HE HAS ZERO POINTS ALL TOURNAMENT.
I'm sure "some people" will manage to spin this performance to show how good coach Spott's, without, once again, watching a single minute of the game.

Not surprised. I never had a good feeling about this team; the Russia win gave me a glimmer of hope, but it was taken away quite quickly.
This team never really looked as dominant as they were expected to be, and never played as a smooth, cohesive unit, except for the Russia game.
Hamilton was a huge disappointment imo, so much hype around this guy going in. Murphy was absolute garbage, he's an offensive d-man yet he had 0 points in the tournament. Corrado should've been selected.
On forward, Huberdeau stank like rotten eggs, Ritchie was awful and Lipon shouldn't have been on the team. Spott also incorrectly used MacKinnon and Rattie.
In goal, Subban looked like a boss against the U.S. in the first game and against Russia, but both of those nights the defense played well too. Today, the defense crumbled, and so did he.
The decisions made for this team were poor from the get-go and unfortunately this is the result.

Granted Rielly didn't make much of an impact either, but atleast he could hit the damn net.

We must have had better players than the ones we took. We had no scoring after the first line and our defence was bad on o and d. Reilly looked like he was the most likely to do anything on the d but he didn't really play until they were down four anyway. Our best forward was Ty Rattie, he came to play.
he made a nice charge in the first period... going through everyone and getting a shot on Gibson
how he got the shot off was beyond me

Rielly was underutilized big time. Anyone with a brain can see that Rielly is a better version of Murphy. Everything that Murphy is good at, Rielly is better at. Rielly is basically a refined, well-crafted version of Murphy with better defense. Yet Murphy was the go-to guy for offense from the back-end by Spott. Idiot.

I wanna say Rielly played well, but he looked just a little better than Murphy in his own end, but better in the offensive end. I think he was the Canadians' second worst d-man tonight.

Yeap with you on this one too. Nilsson hopefully will do some good and Lindholm plays even better
Reilly started the comeback against Slovakia and last time I checked prior to Rus game he had best +- and most points for D. Murphy has 0 points and was getting insane minutes just because he and Spott know each other from the Rangers. Spott is a buffoon and embarrassment. Just repeated the same coaching mistakes over and over.
Also Reilly had 3 solo efforts in the game getting shots on net in his limited ice time.

And tthe only reason he was able to get the premium ice time that started the comeback was because Dougie Hamilton was getting stitched up on the bench.
u notice the US is coached like a team ,using its players at what they excell at .the defence should have been built around reilly and hamilton augmented by more defensive minded d man ......
perfrect example ,jake gardiner can play an offensive game for the leafs ,but u dont pair him with LILES .....spott crapped the bed ,he basically should have cut reilly and oullette because he hadno clue how to play horses .defenseman that play 30 minutes a nite ,need to play at least 20 ......best pure skater .fast skater doesnt get quality minutes .....hockey canada has to answer this .
id rather see one defenceman benched and rotate 5 instead of this crap
sorry folks but spott has just coached himself out of even an AHL job in my opinion
bad choices ,subban saved his bacon last US game ,he shoulve seen how fast the US were and realized he need SPEED
