A Finland/Canada final would be some game. I just love the way the Fins play, there very hard working and physical. Thing is though, has a Canadian, I am not as sure anymore that Canada has this tournament. I believe they will beat the Czechs tomorrow, but the Fins look good. Kipper would be an equal to Broduer too, he played great tonight, scary good. Can't wait...

I can hardly believe it. Congrats to team Finland. It wasn't pretty but who cares. Well done guys. (And Aki is lucky USA didn't score on that penalty :p: )

And Iginla is what? Thornton?...heck, I'm a Bruins fan and I know how he can be....Mario i'll cry to the ref if someone gets near me...There are not alot of players to like on Canada either, I'd still cheer for them until now with some of these posts here...I wanted a USA Canada final, and I would have been upset if the US made it and Canada didnt, but no respect from North of the Border..thanks guys.

I hate Hull, Chelios, Leetch..its not like I liked everyone on USA either, but I still cheered for them.
 
Nice game tonight. Very defensive-minded, but not necessarily boring.

I don't usually root for USA just because I live here, and I wasn't tonight (and throughout the tournament). I just can't stand players like Tkachuk and Guerin - as NHL players, not because of their nationality - and I like players like T. Ruutu, Koivu, Selanne, and many other Finns. So I was rooting for Finland, and I'm very happy with the result.

I was rooting for Slovakia first in the whole thing, and probably Finland second, even though Mario is on Canada and I like many Canadian players.

I don't think the Czech team will be able to beat Canada, but anything can happen in just one game.

I don't know how you can cheer AGAINST a team of Keith T. and Hull, and then cheer FOR a team with a J. Ruutu and Niemenen to beat them. It's the same god damn thing. I don't get this whole Canadian animosity against America.

Devil players made me proud tonight. Thanks for the effort Gomez, Rafalski, Martin and Lagenbrunner. :bow:

What didn't make me proud where two non calls on Leech. Leg on Leg non call, then they nail Blake two seconds later and the killer, Leech being taken down behind the net with the puck on the first goal. NHL referees, some things never change. :shakehead

Guess I'll have two root for my other two Devils. Go Niedermayer and Marty! :yo:
