for playing a bottom 6 spot (he was getting 3rd line minutes), he sure showed a lot offensively and on the forecheck. He had some jam. With his skating and skills, i've long thought he had a bit more potential if given actual nhl caliber linemates. His most common linemates in his career are vdv, white, vinny, and rinaldo :scared:

I wasn't really watching him closely defensively tonight, but i was last game and he was messy per usual. But if he can just move to wing and focus on the offense and grinding, i think he could show an improvement.

jam!!!!

I would have liked to see the U23 team against Canada or USA in the exhibitions. As Europe really looked bad especially on defense. Europe has some good players but then they also have some really bad ones. They don't really have the depth like other teams in this tournament.

Where do you even find the box scores for these games?

They come up on the NHL app for me so I'd assume they're on the website too.

Oh, well then.

I think that the 4th line should just practice with 2 forwards then to save his spot.

Maybe, he could be scratched too. Who knows. He's already banged up, I'd rather him never play at this point.

I was juiced up, but Team US is filled with a bunch of goons ran by an idiot and pushed it too far.

Canada are the only team I'm sure will make the semi finals. Group B seems to have four really good teams.

The Swedish fans don't seem happy about Berglund getting picked over guys like Nyquist, Zibanejad and Johansen.

I was fully expecting an important Flyer to get injured in this waste of time... hopefully Giroux doesn't prove me right. As long as they're just being careful and this doesn't bleed into real hockey.

Better than the Olympics where if an important player goes down you lose them for the home stretch and possibly playoffs.

Obligatory comment about Sens fans still being mad over Hasek's injury in the 2006 Olympics. It's fair to say it cost them a real shot at the Cup.

Joe Thornton on the 4th line wing... why even bring him over someone like Hall if he's playing wing? Very dumb.

thornton's beard likes to be on the wing so that the people in the arena have a better view of The Beard
