Thank you for saying this.

I put a lot of effort into being a pain in the ass, both on and off this board, and it's nice to have that work be recognized.

Morocco is running on fumes with their injuries, but you never know.

I think Croatia could win it all at this point. They're so boring, I really hope not, though.
like to see Modric win it and Modric > Ronaldo really

Modric is one of my favourite players of all time. The smartest player on the pitch for the last 15 years in every game he played.

Croatia plays trap football and I've compared them to the recent Isles... a style impossible for me to cheer for.

I also don't cheer for Modric's club team, either, despite my wanting him to succeed personally.

About Reyna not getting playing time...he's never had the best body language on the field so I could believe this story.

How bad do you have to f*** up to get almost half the team to want to send you away? Not sure if it's in this tweet thread or not, but apparently The Athletic were sitting on this story and was going to release it earlier but held off due to Wahl's death. They were going to print it on Monday, but some of Berhalter's comments from an off-the-record presentation were leaked.

Uh, not sure about this penalty call.

A bit out of nowhere from Argentina. Croatia has dominated play.

Messi converts. Croatia incredibly unfortunate. Don't believe that's a penalty.

Sosa with the complete whiff. He’s not going to forget that for a long time

If Argentina wins the World Cup, an MLS player (Almada, Atlanta) will be a World Cup champion for the first time.

He is already the first MLS player to advance to the Final, though he has yet to see action for Argentina and likely won't in the Final.
