Quality of chances matter, but Spain scored 7 goals on 17 attempts. Canada blanked on 22 attempts.

Expected goals were ~2.5-0.5 in favour of Canada. Poor execution from one side and not the other.

I'm still pissed off they expanded both Euros and WC. Latvia qualified to Euro'2004 when it was 16 teams only; now with expanded version even if we shitshow ourselves in somehow in future - it won't be the same.
