Carlo at least used to be good.

Murphy has never been good.

Hard to know because both Boston and Chicago are train wrecks. But I agree, least Carlo was good previous years so might be a one off due to the year. Still fairly young too. Feels like hes been in the league for forever.

Arvid Soderblom is a no brainer. Can tandem with Skinner (since this management team has a boner for him) and costs the same as Pickard

Look out! ;P

I think he would be a really good fit here. I think he would be pretty good in locker room too. I suspect he would really loosen up the room, which wouldn’t surprise me if its a problem especially when things are going bad.

But he’s getting older. I just feel like based on name alone, he would be so much more expensive than he should be.

Gotta respect what some teams have been able to do. Colorado has a goalie problem ? They went out and fixed it.

Florida wins a cup last year ? No problem they are still committed to improving the team this year.

Vegas is always ready to do something big and will probably figure out some silly move this year.

Oilers more then happy to stand around with their dicks in their hands

This team improves substantially in one move with Chicago where we land Soderblom and Murphy.

Forget Donato, he's not a big guy, we have enough forwards, and Edmonton is where offense goes to die...at least under this coach.

Didnt Treenas call Henrique or someshit. Prob just dumb luck or hopping onto reports already out there though.
She called 2 UFA signings I think more than a decade ago and hasn't called a single thing since, despite many attempts, I definitely think if I pretended to be an insider I could hit more frequently than she does relative to the number of attempts.

cap in cap out :sarcasm:

if only it was just :sarcasm:

Connor Murphy is a solid 2nd pair defender with another year yet and makes second pairing money. Last year right shot middle pair d with no remaining years cost around a 1st. Ryan Donato has 23 goals and 46 points this year which instantly makes him our 3rd best forwards. We just spent a 2nd on a worse guy, so that’s a 1st which O’Reilly is. 2 firsts to fill 2 major spots is fair value. If anything it might be not enough.
He does, but you overrate both. They aren't coming for free but you don't toss up multiple firsts for them.

The Oilers were going to take him with their 2nd round pick if they didn't trade that pick for Reinhart.

Not sure anyone is still around from that regime though.
