Small world: just realised that Craig Ramsay (Slovakia/Slaf head coach) was assistant coach with Tortorella the year Tampa won the cup with MSL & Lecavalier.

If I remember well, MSL even congrat Ramsey on a PC when he won the bronze at OG.

If Kingston gets eliminated can Shane Wright go to world championship like Owen Power did?
He's not going to WCs. His season ends if he loses today.

Scouting season is coming to a close.

Most players are already done except for those in CHL playoffs and World's.

Combine will be next big event.

Very stupid penality by Nemec there.

Slafkovsky all over the ice, skating is clearly a massive strength.

Slaf doesnt look out of place but nothing overly standout either

Solid skating though. Much different style playing teams like Germany. Ice is contested everywhere

I have not watched this game yet, but from viewings at the WJC and Olympics, I'd say his skating is solid rather than massive strength but together with his hands, size and shot makes him a very interesting prospect.
It’s not a massive strength. Goldenhands just has an agenda to push.

Yawn

Based on the first. He had strong rush and subtle nice pass. Also a bad turnover.

In your everyone but Wright quest, all you have done is pump up his competition and ignore any flaws.

The shtick is already old
That board is laughable at times, yeah let ignore how he ridiculed Seider on the same play and all the great plays he made all game long against top competition. Let focuss on his 2 turnovers and ignore the rest, HF at its best.

Just pathetic. All people are saying is be balanced. Positive and negative.

You are just incapable. You just look like a fanboy at this point yet have touted and said how much hard work you put into scouting these guys. All you have done is discredit your own so called work. You are clearly 100% biased in your views

You are quoting a post that brought up two good things vs a turnover and you're all up in arms. Pointing out the goods and bads leads to an actual objective analysis as opposed to wearing rose colored glasses and willingly choose to ignore the bad plays.

Slafkovsky played a good game overall today but made a mistake that caused a turnover that lead to goal. Shit happens.

Lol it's Germany, outside of Seider it's not top competition. Dude you have to learn to not fall in love with these guys, you lose all objectivity. Everyone here likes Slaf too but every one of these guys has positives and negatives. These are not your children.
