Team is built ass-backwards. How much would their slim chances improve if they didn't have one of the core (including Rielly) off the books and their salary replaced with a legit #1 goalie?
Unreal. If we didn't have bad luck we would have no luck at all.

Fair enough. Could be right. Given the schedule, he'll play next week.My hunch.
This is why Shanny and Treliving need to put everything including their nuts in an offer for Shesterkin next summer.Team is built ass-backwards. Just three small problems with this:This is why Shanny and Treliving need to put everything including their nuts in an offer for Shesterkin next summer.
With Marner and JT coming off the books. This is the perfect chance for them to do it. Assuming he makes UFA that is. But I think he will considering that he rejected quite the offer from the Rangers
Sammy gave up 1 goal on 29 shots thru 60 minutes in game 7, he's not at all the reason we lost. The boys on Overdrive are incredulous that Woll is hurt without having played a game. They eased him into the season barely playing during preseason, and the glass-man got hurt anyways. HE CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO PLAY ANY EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. You realize we probably win that series against Boston if we didn't have to start Samsonov. Now we're ready to start the season against the hated Habs in an opener and he suddenly again isn't available. How do his teammates view this guy. They have to be sick of this. He's a good goalie, but completely unreliable.
This guy is a head case. Mark my words.
Who would sign an unproven injury prone goalie number 1 money?
Based on what I've read, his contract is already a disaster. That didn't take long.Guys, I know it's frustrating but the season hasn't even started and I'm sure the Leafs are playing it safe.
Woll probably wanted to start tonight and the Leafs said no.
The season is a marathon and not a sprint.
Let's just enjoy the ride.
More likely, he'll play one game and be out for 6 months.Stolarz was a smart signing. The Woll extension was sort of pricey for someone with his resume/injury history. Hopefully it’s all been bad luck until now and he’ll be fine going forward
