  • no gamebreaking talent up front
  • Hunter wants to lean on 19 year old dmen, they've been trash.
  • Refusing to play Smith and Dobson as the first pair

Huhhh

Brook have been Canada best defenceman in his own zone so far even if he's playing on his wrong side and Mitchell have been playing very well as well....
Smith is starting to play better for the last 2 games but he remain dangerous in his own zone. The top 4 should be pretty easy to identify so far;

Brook-Mitchell
Smith-Dobson

McIsaac/Phillips-Bouchard should be playing limited times with no PP at all for Bouchard.

They need to put Scott in net the rest of the tournament. He’s clearly the better goalie as the stats don’t lie.
Lmao

Yes, lets sit the goalie following his best game where he gets potg
Great idea

Classic leafs

Nothing to do with being a leafs fan. His stats are a hell of a lot better than DiPietro’s this year.
Okay? DP has always been the guy, and is having a good tourney.

If DP got lit up, it would make sense, but he has not, and have gotten stronger every game.

All on a average canada team

Somehow I feel like Canada's goalies arent the best (maybe even a weakness if you'd think of any) in their lineup. Or I just don't pay enough attention lol.
I think the defense and scoring has been a lot more concerning. I have faith in both goalies personally

I have liked Brook's play. He shows pretty good awareness. I do see Smith-Dobson as the top pair myself, but it's not by some huge landslide. I hope Bouchard can raise his game, yes I said it.

Canadian fans are too tough on their team. Only Russia and MAAybe USA are capable of beating them. Canada should take this 4-2 and Comtois with 1st place for a tuck, somersault and pike with degree of difficulty of 2.5

I am excited to see this one. Canada is the favorite but we do have good enough players to win this. Unfortunately our coach seems to be running too complicated system, crying about refs and focusing on completely wrong things.

Looking forward to this game. It should be a war.
Much like with Hart last year i wouldn't want to count on goaltending to save the day but also don't really worry about it costing a game the skaters played well enough in that it should have resulted in a win.

Go Canada Go

I haven't been sold on either of these teams during their games so far, so this could go either way. I expect Canada to win based on Finland's struggles, but I said the same thing about Russia and Russia cleaned their game up a lot against Canada.

I think it will be close. I'll lean toward a Canada win but not confidently. Should be a good one, looking forward to it.

Ian Scott has a SVP of .882 in the tourney vs Switzerland with a gaa of 2

DiPietro has a SVP of .957 with a gaa of 1

Your right the numbers don't lie
