Canada's defensive game needs to tighten up. Shen's winner was embarrassing.

It is never a positive for Canada to be bounced out of the QF. It will be embarrassing for this team to be bounced out of the QF on home soil. However, it could happen with Hunter behind the bench. Hard to believe this guy was the most qualified person to coach Canada.

Well the Finns have Ahokas behind the bench who was absolutely brutal last year and seems to continue the trend so I doubt Canada will get any disadvantage as far as coaching is concerned. For instance the players in our best line averaged TOI somewhere between 14-15 minute in the game against USA despite the team trailing right after the first period.

The 2 teams I had pegged for the GMG matchup. I don't have much confidence in either of these 2 teams to turn their tournament direction around, so whoever survives this game will be bounced in the semis and then go on lose the BMG.

Something about this Team Canada didn’t inspire confidence from the beginning.

• no gamebreaking talent up front
• Hunter wants to lean on 19 year old dmen, they've been trash.
• Refusing to play Smith and Dobson as the first pair
