Finland is full court pressing on the forecheck....

If Canada's strength is our D' being gifted on moving the puck...

Time to stretch the Finn's D' with a high long pass...

They are just channeling our D' to over-handle or push the puck up the wall...

That was actually getting pretty good and intensive towards the end of the period.

It’s a very very average team, a lot of people knew that going into this world juniors.

They can still win though with great goaltending and timely goals

Yeah, not too many big stars on this squad compared to other years. Dipietro is going to have to continue to bail us out back there

Finland's 2nd line needs more TOI even though now that Talvitie is on 1st line it looks really good. Why did it take that long to take Nyman off of it?

The identity of the Canadian team was supposed to be fast, quick, and skilled. I don't see that at all, that's when you know the coach is no good.

They need to be more patient in their own zone, every time the get the puck they’re blindly firing it up the boards.

Good play by Phillips there to break that rush chance up. Inability to clear and the lack of a true gamebreaking forward is really hurting this team right now. Fire drills in our end all tourney.

On paper all these guys are high draft picks and stars in their junior clubs.

Suzuki, Frost and Bouchard are arguably the 3 best players in the OHL.

Just hasn't come together at all.

A hell of goalie, the rest of these guys do not look to me like they will ever make the show (I will reserve judgment on Lafrenière until he hits puberty)
