I have to agree with this. It's important to keep in mind, that we have a way smaller number of registered/active hockey players in Switzerland compared to any of the top nations, it's not even close 27k vs 62k in Sweden, 73k in Finland and 120k in Czech Republic. Let's not look at Canada and the US with over 600 and 500k, respectively. (Slovaks have even fewer players 10k). In my opinion, one can even make an argument that the Swiss ice hockey federation needs to invest a lot just to make sure that the gap doesn't get larger.
