Read this thread ! it is a joke.

Swiss can do what they want ... refs say nothing (normal they are Finish and Canadian) + they can play 6 players nothing is called ... + Swedes are sick + ... + + + !!

Honestly is it funny. do not be surprised some people pick on it to make fun !!!

Swiss aren't that bad ... give them credit. And the Swedes ... well so far it is not their best game.
1-0 is not a scandal so far.
Are you going to be okay?

Some next level sloppiness from Sweden.

Looks like the refs are reading HF during the break. One penalty for hugging and one for too many men, immediately after the bashing of exactly those things. I didn't see a replay of the hooking call, so I don't know.

I have to agree with this. It's important to keep in mind, that we have a way smaller number of registered/active hockey players in Switzerland compared to any of the top nations, it's not even close 27k vs 62k in Sweden, 73k in Finland and 120k in Czech Republic. Let's not look at Canada and the US with over 600 and 500k, respectively. (Slovaks have even fewer players 10k). In my opinion, one can even make an argument that the Swiss ice hockey federation needs to invest a lot just to make sure that the gap doesn't get larger.

Wow surprising that Czech #s almost double both Finland and Sweden yet they are nowhere near their level of talent production. Matter of funding maybe?

You know your edge is bad when your top line RW is still chasing his first point of the tournament in the f***ing quarterfinals.

Probably players spending too much time playing here in North America instead of developing their hockey skills in the Czech Republic.

Welp no way Sweden kill another penalty with the game going the way it is.
