I don't think any are ahead of Canada, but I'd take Sweden over Russia. Maybe Finland as well. I don't see the argument for USA though

I haven't been overly impressed with either, but Canada was super disappointing against Switzerland for me. They could've easily lost that game.

Sweden has looked the best of the bunch, despite their horrible collapse.

I don't think any team in this tournament has looked without flaws. I mean obviously Canada had a tight game with the Swiss....So did the Czechs...and the Russians. The Swiss have been impressive so far. Basically wide open and Canada when they are going are still right in that conversation with the other top teams.

Correction. It's not North American media; maybe just Canadian. Sports-centic xenophobia doesn't exist in the NBA or MLB like it does in the NHL; at least not to the same extent.

There hasn’t been a clear front runner this tourney. Lot of parity this year.

To each their own. To me Sweden outside of one really rough period has looked like the best team thus far. Nobody looks unbeatable, I do think there is less talent overall in this tournament than most years. Seems to be more Draft eligible players than prior years.
