Yeah might be hard to break that line up if they keep it goingSeems like Glass and Comtois is working pretty well lol
I think he's played within himself and smart that period.
Well, let's just wait and see. Thought the whole team played pretty solid that period.I just turned the game on and saw the puck hop over his stick. Not his fault obviously. Just I'm kind of surprised he even made the team as an 18 YO.
Not even close to true. He sucked in preseason. Haley wasn’t even on the team either at that point. Tippett was top 6 or bust for us.Owen "Worse than Michael Haley in the eyes of Dale Tallon" Tippett, everyone.
Thinking with the concept of a top-6 is truly prehistoric. Not even close to true. He sucked in preseason. Haley wasn’t even on the team either at that point. Tippett was top 6 or bust for us.
Tippett in our bottom six was a waste of time. You don’t put players of tippets caliber there ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DIDNT DESERVE A ROSTER SPOT. Not prehistoric at all.Thinking with the concept of a top-6 is truly prehistoric.
the whole idea of a top 6 and bottom 6 is not really relevant in the modern NHL was his point. put the best players in your lineup and go from there. you don't need a bunch of grinders to fill out a bottom 6 anymoreTippett in our bottom six was a waste of time. Once again Tippett was awful in preseason. It’s not a hard concept. He didn’t deserve to make the team.the whole idea of a top 6 and bottom 6 is not really relevant in the modern NHL was his point. put the best players in your lineup and go from there. you don't need a bunch of grinders to fill out a bottom 6 anymore
Yeah it is quite a love in, having said that it is better then a moan session due to bad/sloppy play.Quite a love in for just one period of pre-tournament hockey played. I'll join in I guess and say that some of the forwards looked quite solid. Glass, Comtois, Tippett has a very nice snipe, Lafreniere looked smart and was buzzing, Veleno looked like he could be the one to provide a spark for his line. Two of the defencemen looked less than poised with the puck but hopefully that gets ironed out.
He is playing really well but there doesn't seem to much of a need to move him up right now. Every line is basically dominating right now. They're completely wasting Veleno on this line.
He's a smart, hardworking player with great skill, he earns what he gets out there, not afraid to get his nose dirty at all.Lafreniere’s hunger on the forecheck is really fun to watch. Kid just always makes a good play every time he hops the boards.
