Depends where he was hit, hard to tell from the angle. If he got that right in the nose your eyes will swell and it makes it hard to see for a minute or so.

There is no such thing as a good make up call (or non-call). That is garbage officiating and the exact kind of game management that has ruined the NHL. Complain all you want about IIHF rules or the quality of officials, I'll take some mistakes any day over game management.
