Who would the MVP of the tournament be?

that a pretty tough one i think. I dont really know anyone on canada that stood out by themselves, been more of a group effort exp. between Bergeron, Cros, Getzlaf, Carter, Phaneuf, weber.

how about Kessel? <-- for the amreican fans

Crosby, Getzlaf, and Weber have no shot. It could be any of the other three. I'd go with Carter personally.

Singing "Na-na Goodbye" with 10 minutes to go? Wow thats classless. No one with a sense of desency can be happy for a team who's fans show such disrespect.

How has Shawn Belle played in this game? I notice he is +3, putting him at +9 for the tournament. Is that indicative of how he has been playing? Thanks ahead of time.

They were singing it in the second intermission too. :joker:

Even though it's a blowout, anybody watching care to comment with an objective view on Malkin's play tonight?

In the first he was pretty visible, but has been contained by the Canadians especially for the last 10 min. of 2nd and for the 3rd.

anyone notice all those canadian fans waving those flags distracting everyones view? doesnt get more classless than that. jeeze

the difference between the chechs and the sweeds was that the chechs was playing constance defence against the canadians but sweden thought they had a chance playing offensive hockey and left Heino-lindberg alone with the canadien forwards. My opinion is still that heino-lindberg is the best goalie in the tournament
and will be in the future....remember where you read this first...

Do you think it's because he realizes the game is long over?

I am being punished by ESPN and can't see the game, would appreciate your opinion.

The Canadian one is 11 I believe and the overall one is 16 by Markus Naslund.
I think the Canadian one is 12, a tie between Carter and Lindros.

As for the "Na-Na-Na" singing, I see nothing wrong with beginning the singing with 10 minutes to go in a blow out game. I know that my flyer faithful and I sung it real early 2 years ago when they crushed the Leafs in game 7.

What a boring 3rd period so far. Russians have given up already.
I know......they're not even DIVING anymore to try and draw penalties.

If there was ever a sure sign of the Russians giving up, that would be it.

havent noticed much of Malkin but he's had two decent rushes where hes tried to deke out the Dmen but other than that :dunno:

Honestly, the only guy who's really an embarassment out of all of this is Pierre Mcguire. Fair enough, you hate Russia and love Canada, fine. But try to maintain at least some sense of objectivity through all of this, would you?
