It's Roséns goal right?
Maybe. Trying to find a cleaner replay of it.

btw.. off topic.. Sabres drafted Jakub Konecny. He looked damn good in the Spengler yesterday and is doing well. I could seem him in Rochester next year!Ah, the ol' "rooting for bodychecks" method. I feel like that most nights with conference games that don't involve my favorite teams.

Sure, but Germany has progressed quite considerably the past what .. 5 to 10 years and they must be taken seriously by opposing teams. They are playing well so far and could very well steal this game.German hockey never progressed as much as it should have because there were way too many foreigners playing in Pro leagues and keeping spots from aspiring youngsters. That plus Soccer will always be King In Germany
Del Monte juice.Del Monte sounds like an Italian name
How many shots did the Germans have on power plays? Ten? They aren't very competitive at 5v5, but they play a damn good power play. They just need better shooters, Lindbom saw most of the shots.
I still don't like Jansson, Czechs or Canadians will give him big problems.
He hasn't had many difficult saves. Germany shooters are unable to hit an open spot.Lindbom is amazing, Vegas got a steal there.
Great positional play.He hasn't had many difficult saves. Germany shooters are unable to hit an open spot.
#18 Filip Bystedt for Sweden with a great individual effort .. but no goal.
Agreed. I think we Germans would all be pretty happy with just avoiding relegation this year and staying up. Looking for hopefully competitive games against the top 3 and then a win against AustriaAgreed. They have really found a system that works. Last time they had someone like Alexander Blank as a shooter, this time there is not a single pure shooter on this team. The best we can hope for are rebounds or deflections.
But overall I am still pleasantly surprised how one of our worst rosters of the last few years, missing some of their best players on top of that, is playing so far. It really looks like they have figured out a system that works for all the players and allows them to mask the lack of individual talent.
Obviously they cannot keep up with a team like Sweden 5v5, but even there they performed better than expected.
Obviously not but it's a very good D core. Jiricek and Svozil would make any team in this tourney IMO. Spacek and Hamara would have shots too as outsiders.Czechia's Defense is 10 times better than Canada
He said that’s how he was asked to pronounce itIt's Del Monte not Del Monta Gordie Miller
Carlsson's pass to Lysell was quite nice, shame he couldn't capitalize on it.
