GDT: WJC: Finland Vs Czechia | 29th December @ 12:00PM MT

Czech has some decent talent in their team as well. I will be keeping attention on Svozil and Jiricek on the defensive side and on offense Kos (who plays in Ilves, Tampere), Mysak and Kulich. Many names I've missed, maybe some better educationed person could give more insight to the roster, Czechia seems to be having number of very late round picks who are having relatively succesfull seasons going on.

Jiricek is out of the tournament sadly. Worth watching tichacek too perhaps. Mysak has been disappointing.

Brabenec is a guy to watch. Played well against Canada but was fairly invisible against Germany. Hoping he can step up this game.
David Spacek is another guy. Played great against Germany. Smart player

Okay thanks, I will. Brabenec seems to be having a good season in Canada and so is Spacek, who appears to be the son of former NHL-player Jaroslav.

I’m guessing it’s gonna be a pretty tight 5-2 game for Finland, last one empty netter.

I have this feeling that the first two periods will be quite tight that could go either way but Finland eventually pull out the W due to having more depth.
 
Chris Härenstam out of Swedish national television reports this game is cancelled due to a covid case in Czechia. Finland awarded the win.
 
well, finland is better. in a "normal" game finland would win with like 4-2. but i got a feeling that czechia might take this one
 
Further proof that either nhl style bubble was not as bulletproof or same measures that worked against delta won’t work against omicron

How are they getting COVID? This tournament is so badly organized with people getting sick left and right.
