Kravtsov moving from Vadivostok to Chelyabinsk to live with his grandma and be able to persue his dream to play hockey. That's a tough decision at a young age. That shows his commitment and that he is able to deal with tough moments.

Where does it say in the Post that he moved in with his grandmother? Here's the quote:

Kravtsov: My mom sacrificed a lot for me in my hockey career, moving with me to Chelyabinsk from Vladivostok, splitting the family and being with me so I can pursue my dream, so she’s very precious to me for that.

Patience is the key word here (lol). Kravtsov's mother was at the last scrimmage and Newsday reported that the plan was for them to stick around on a vacation before going back to Russia.

In any case, even if the decision has been made, the organization has other fish to fry right now (free agency) and is not going to announce right away. They may not have even made a final decision yet.

I'll never forget how Ortmeyer scored a beautiful penalty shot goal against Boston, I think. It's amazing the type of skill an average at best 4th liner has in the NHL.

Edit: 4th line plug against a goalie that had one of the best peaks in NHL history. No biggie.

didn't we used to call Jed something like "Stone hands"? That said, Jed was good along the boards so getting advice on board work, winning battles, and forechecking, he's not a bad instructor for that.
