Possibly. But I’m hoping the new found lottery side of things brings life into our table.I don't f***ing care. They'll fine a way to f*** it up.

This is a really good draft to be picking ~14. I strongly believe we’ll have options there that would be shoe-in top-10 picks most years. If Yager falls due to not having exploded production-wise this year, we take that to the bank.
Buffalo won tonight and could jump us with a win against CJB tomorrow... potentially looking at the 13th pick. Silver linings I guess
I haven’t won one yet with the Pens (moved up 10). A lot of Philadelphia and Washington. The one lotto sim I clicked had the Pens jumping up 10 spots to grab Carlsson at 4th overall. I would love to see the hockey world react to that one. The stud, 6'3" center prospect would also be cool, I guess.
Not old enough, and doesn't make enough. I'm thinkin'... Another middle-6 schlub who makes $5 million AAV or thereabouts, with term.Annnd the pick has been traded for Kapanen.
Third time is a charm.
Nice names and this year is a deeper draft. To be honest, it should be a no brainer, that pick should not be moved or even consider being moved. Trade roster players and try to go get another 1st if you ask me!!I decided to take a quick snapshot of 14th overall picks from 2015-2020. That means these picks have had at least two years of drafting and development time to make the NHL. Anyone picked from 2020-now has maybe not had enough time yet. Anyways, here's how that looks:
Jake Debrusk
Charlie Mcavoy
Cal Foote
Joel Farabee
Cam York
Dylan Holloway
Some interesting names there. Seems like a pretty good shot at an impact player if we keep that pick. An equivalent to Farbee, Mcavoy, or Debrusk would all be quite nice for this team. Unfortunately thte pick would probably take at least two more years to get here, meaning it might not impact us in time to help this core out.
Interesting decision this summer as to whether to keep this pick or not.

Is Craig Patrick is involved in the hockey ops side? send him and his 4 leaf clover from 05 to the lottery and cut a full on heel promo if we win "YOU DAMN RIGHT WE RIGGED THIS, THE f*** ARE YOU WHINNY LITTLE INTERNET MARKS GONNA DO"?!The one lotto sim I clicked had the Pens jumping up 10 spots to grab Carlsson at 4th overall. Trading it has to be on the table imo. But some nice potential names if we keep it.I see one impact player on that list.
Trade it.
