Speculation: With Parayko done for the season, does St. Louis start selling off?

The Blues were already sellers? Try to make the playoffs fine. Good on you. Look at the standings and your potential matchups if you make it in- I'm sorry, but you're sellers.
This comment made very little sense until I saw it was from a Dallas fan.

In an asset management vaccuum, sure.

From a hockey management standpoint no to selling off. They’re right in the battle of a WC spot- not sure what message that sends to the group of players that have had a strong year and step forward.

Kyrou for Mercer, Nemec, and a 2nd. With Snuggerud and Divorsky coming, we can afford to give up Rouzy for a chance at a franchise RHD who could bounce back with a change of scenery. Countryman with Divorsky too, might help with comfort level.

Don't think Kyrou alone gets you both Nemec and Mercer, let alone adding a pick.

Kyrou has made alot of strides from a couple of years ago when you couldn't really trust him to backcheck/not make dumb turnovers.

I don't think he's a player I'd be ok with them throwing away for pieces that aren't really defined about what they are or will be.

I would guess a lot of the things the blues want to do would be better transacted between the seasons.

There really isn’t anybody to causally sell. The guys we do have that you’d maybe guess would move really don’t bring us much value in a trade.

If I had to guess I’d guess you’d describe the blues as a buyer and seller after tomorrow. I think they’ll look to retool defense in the wake of the icetime Paraykos absence will provide. If they’re aiming to do something in this area in the offseason but can do it now then why not take advantage. It does seem there could be high stakes transactions in the future but these types of things don’t typically wait for deadline day.

y'all keep saying "haul" with nothing to back it up. silly season.
whatever the haul is...fact of the matter is Binningtons value will never be higher and there are teams that need a G....Edmonton and Detroit being the most obvious ones...The blues are rebuilding and Jordan will not be effective when and if the Blues get to the point where they are a threat to go deep in the playoffs. Besides, moving forward Hofer needs more starts.

Would be cool if we picked up another D-man, and then somehow made the playoffs and Parayko came back.

The outcome of the Ducks/Blues game tonight will likely decide the direction Armstrong goes.
