Que? Tulowitzki said he was upset that the Rockies blindsided him with the trade because he had hoped to be involved/kept in the loop if talks of a deal including him were ongoing, and that the whirlwind of the rest of the season afterwards didn't give him time to adjust. I don't recall him ever saying that he was unhappy to be in Toronto or giving the impression that he would be a "disgruntled employee."

There is absolutely zero reason at this point to even need to entertain the idea of having to trade him.

Dalton Pompey is going to be 23 in a few days. And he's bee in AAA since he was 21. I think it's just a touch foolish to be sitting here presuming that he'll never be an everyday player in the bigs right now, no matter how much uncertainty you qualify that expectation with.

How can you be so sure about it, he was given a chance last year and it was his job to lose

The season is not far and then I am going to see who is laughing

I think people are forgetting just who Troy Tulowitzki is. He's an incredible baseball player. He will bounce back, mark my words.

Josh Donaldson and Troy Tulowitzki. Still blows my mind that they are both Jays.

I think every one know who Tulowitzki is

Well, there are a lot of casuals who became big fans in 2015 because of the success of the team. I just hope those people realize the Troy Tulowitzki they saw wasn't the real Tulo.

Osuna has never thrown 100 innings in a season and Sanchez has pretty much shown us nothing past A+ that resembles a solid starter moving forward.

Sanchez' AAA numbers at a very young 21 weren't very good, but his AA numbers as an underage 21 were pretty solid. More importantly, he was showing a pretty impressive learning curve in his rookie SP year this year, actually. And we know he has the stuff, he just lacked command.

Gms 1-3: 4.2ip/gs, 18.8bb%, 5.14era, 7.21fip, 5.58xfip
Gms 4-7: 6.0ip/gs, 15.7bb%, 3.75era, 4.72fip, 5.10xfip
Gms 8-11: 7.0ip/gs, 7.3bb%, 2.57era, 4.63fip, 3.78xfip

And before you fret too much about isolated peripherals note that he finished with the 6th best gb% and 15th lowest hard contact% of an SP in mlb with at least 50ip.

overall a lot to like from a 22yr old 's first 11 career starts -especially since he showed a stark improvement in control, his biggest question mark.

As for Osuna, this is where official pro innings deceives us. they don't include extended ST innings or most injury rehab innings and are pretty sketchy when it comes to his various mexican league innings or his innings in winter ball. He's been a fulltime SP since he was a kid, in all those years. He has thrown plenty of innings, many more than you'll find on his official stat page.

Maybe you missed the part where he said he was 23. That's incredibly young for a baseball player.

No there is a attitude problem - some posters believe they are the experts and keep on making fun of others instead of having healthy discussion

As I said earlier that I am not sure (does not mean I am writing him off)

You're right, we have no information regarding his rehab and simulated innings, just like we have none about anybody else in the league. That doesn't excuse his durability concerns and the fact that he would be on a innings cap if he were to transition back to a starter next season.

In terms of identifying a new-found Sanchez over the course of four starts, it's extremely easy to pick and choose numbers that support your argument. It's even easier to suggest the luck considering he had a 113 FIP-, a 2.13 K/BB, an 88% LOB rate, and gave up just 16% soft contact. He was essentially a right-handed Michael Montgomery, or something like Nick Martinez. I wouldn't bet a starters spot on that "success" and expect him to outperform Dickey/Estrada/Happ/Chavez over the course of a full season.

They saw him play his worst 30 games of his carrer. Probaly not.

True point

Offensively yes, defensively he was great as ever

Tulo is an elite player and he will be fine. Playoffs he started showing signs of returning to form at least power wise.

I don't understand this sentiment. Why would you laugh if Pompey fails this year?
