i dont want pompey leading off to start the season. so it makes sense to keep revere for the first half

if you're going to go the whole we absolutely have to have a traditional leadoff guy up there then he is. Thankfully MLB organizations are starting to become a little more open minded. Like for instance having a good OBP up there is far more important than having a guy with speed up there.

and the whole, he hits 30+ homeruns? Gotta put him 4th, or 3rd or 5th.

Tulo is a better option. It's not like we're ridding the power spots of power guys, there's still 3 big powers guys coming up for 2, 3 and 4. You don't need to hold Tulo until 5th.

Extremely conflicting reports wrt Chapman's domestic situation. 4 different people with 4 different stories and no one willing to talk to the cops.

zeke is usually pretty find whatever stats I can use to back up my already formed and written in stone opinion, and I don't think he was negative before.

But once he finds a reason to dislike something, he just goes all out and finds and does whatever he can to post that opinion everywhere, which is getting borderline list worthy, which kinda sucks because he does know a bit about hockey, but that stuff is soon going to be worth the sacrifice so I don't have to see this garbage.

It's kind of like how the White Sox continuiously try to trade us injured players, when you know someone's ability to play the game could potentially be hampered, whether by injury or a crim, you don't just keep it quiet and try to trade them. Unlike in an injury this couldn't come up in a physical. I'd imagine had the Dodgers traded for him and then found out about this after they'd be pretty upset.

Did the Kings try to trade Voynov before everyone could figure out about him domestic violence issues? I don't think so.

I consider it pretty shady business, but maybe teams already knew, but I doubt it considering we heard a deal was in place and only got held up because of this business, I'd imagine if this was known they wouldn't have come this close before it became an issue.

The ownership and management have made it crystal clear how committed they are to winning in contrast to making money. They want to be competitive but aren't willing to spend more to make themselves the favorites.

According to the account the girlfriend gave to police, she and Chapman got into an argument after she found something on his phone. Chapman pushed her against the wall and placed his hands around her neck but did not stop her from breathing, according to her account. One of the dozen or more police officers dispatched to the house observed that she had no visible injuries on her neck or chest area. After the girlfriend’s brother intervened she ran outside to take care of her four month old child, according to what she told police.

I was resigned to the fact Encarnacion was probably gone once his contract ran out. He signed a sweetheart deal last time and probably wants to cash in. Assuming Tulo bounces back, i don't think losing him is a big loss as some are making it out to be. A normal Tulo/Donaldson/Bautista middle of the order is still incredibly threatening.

Bautista though? If he wants to retire with the Jays, he better damn well get his wish.
