There were hundreds of people there, easily.

The bathrooms were as good as advertised, at least. They even have hand sanitizer inside each stall lol. And there's an indicator on each stall so you can easily tell which ones are vacant.

This should be mandatory in every public rest room!

Scheduled a long layover in Abu Dhabi on the way to Qatar to check out the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque... simply stunning. Legitimately moved me to tears with its beauty.

Not a fan of that place because of the CEO and his views, but also because they have the worst fries of any fast food chain. They'd be better if they didn't always under cook them too. Makes them suck even more. My kids love it though.
Love the Mac n cheese. Fries are generally lacking for sure. I don’t love fries regardless

Tried once at my daughter’s insistence. I thought it was garbage. One and done for me.

First time I ever went was with my brother in law. My wife and I had zero frame of reference so we didn't realize you had to ask for sauce. We got home, I open the sandwich up and it's just a piece of chicken and some pickles. I go WTF is this? Why is there no mayo on it and my brother in law goes, oh yeah, you need to ask for sauce or condiments. I'm like maybe you should have told us before we left the freaking place? Dry chicken sandwiches for us that night. So my initial reaction was similar to you. I wasn't impressed at all. My kids love it and we take them to the one in Worcester every once in a while, but it's not the first, second, or third consideration.

My first time trying it was in Maryland for work on my lunch break because my coworkers all swore by it and... my initial reaction in my mind was 'why the f*** do I have no sauce or anything except for pickles on a chicken sandwich
... and they're on the bottom bun, underneath the 'chicken filet?.' '

Yep. Weird that they don't tell anyone either. They expect you to know that.

I actually do like the waffle fries, but in general I don't care one way or the other for Chick-fil-a. Like if other people are going and like "do you want something" I'd be up for it, but I'd never go out of my own way to go there. It's overpriced compared to similar chicken sandwich meals at other fast food restaurants.

They opened a Raising Cane's near me last year sometime, and I went once and it was actually pretty good, it's just that that shopping center is so busy that I've never felt in the mood to go back and wait in line.

Cabin in Flagstaff sounds awesome. Love the area as well.

We did Flagstaff back in May (3rd time there) and drove to Prescott, crossed Peeples Valley - how beautiful is that place! - and stayed in Wickenburg, before we headed west towards Colorado River.

First time there we hiked trails around Humphreys Peak, amazing views.

Next time we ll drive east to Holbrook and then turn south, huge area to explore, Payson looks interesting, never been there.

Have a great weekend!
Painted Desert is a must up near holbrook. I might pass on Payson...but check out Strawberry --watch out for the elk, they roam freely

For the record, I don't recommend a Kia Soul for a road trip of any significant length. And especially if you're planning to drive through Birmingham on I65 which I believe consists of 95% potholes and 5% drivable surface. I feel like I rode a horse the whole way. Not to mention that if you try to squeeze four people into one, you have no room for actual luggage.

No offense to anyone who may own and like one of these wretched vehicles. I'm used to my dad's old land yachts which were terrible on gas mileage but fantastic for comfort lol.

I-65 going through Birmingham, is the absolute worst....I dread it every time I go to my place on the panhandle...

Glad you enjoyed the Buccees, @Bruinaura . Been waiting for that thing to open and finally got to hit it at the end of October. Used to go to 'em in Texas all the time. Be sure to stop and get some fudge on the way home...

I saw that fudge  but somehow I resisted. Picked up a jar of apple butter just to see how it compares to Apple Barn's

Watching Survivor Series which was at the garden last night they said 15,000 in attendance googled capacity of the garden and its 19,580. Not bad. Not a sell out but close. Thought the garden could hold more.

Probably was a sellout. You lose thousands of seats behind the entrance area. Saw MITB there years ago and there's just a giant dead space in that spot.
