Yup 74.5 in the shade up here in the Shire. According to my thermometer anyway.
76 here but there is wind and the humidity is pretty gross.

I walked 5K this morning and was soaked. Not something I expected.

I think I might need to rake my car after having the sun roof open post walk lol.

Very high winds at the Cave... drying out the leaves that need to be removed...a friend lost the driver's side window to a falling branch last night...luckily the truck was parked...lost power over night but the generator kept the Cave warm and the TV running....power came back on around 11.30am....

windows open here too. But no bugs. We already had a hard frost.

Had oil delivered Friday. Been 6 months. 170 gallons. $960-

it can staylike this until Easter as far as Im concerned.
I haven't yet put the screens in my 3 storm doors. The cats are enjoying sitting near the one that goes out to the deck...where I feed the birds and squirrels. They are chattering at all of the birds.

I had the door open until late last night and I opened the windows in my bedroom. It is too warm for Nov.

its all up to Mass state code where what gets mounted. As well as what has voice and where.
I believe I have , per State law, in garage 2 heat/smoke. …

Hallways 3of them Smoke CO…
bedrooms smoke….

basement smokes.

The laws here are pretty strict and mapped out. Where, height, distance, etc…

And anything newer, must be hardwired.

If you are ever building anything, check not only local but State fire codes/laws.

Wow MA law is strict. In our house we have 2, and that's the Aus standard - one smoke detector towards the front of the property, one towards the rear. People with a double storey would also have one upstairs. No carbon monoxide detectors required, but then the way house heating is done here is different to New England, so it's less of a risk.

Today after church I decided to go to the mall.

I've not shopped in a mall in years. Walked in and immediately felt like I had been transported back to 1994.

Lots of empty stores, but there were people operating kiosks. Had no idea people still did that. How they are making any money is beyond me.

And there was still a Claire's. Claire's?!?!!

Spent the weekend at our place in NH. It was 68 last night. Fire on in the yard, was outside in jeans and a t-shirt. And no bugs. Just perfect.

Had the air on today. I've had it on for awhile. Helps with my allergies. Mom is getting over being sick with RSV (my 1 year old niece had it and gave it to her). I didn't get it. It's been 2 weeks. My throat is a bit scratchy and my nose is starting to be stuffy. I cannot afford to get sick.

Especially taking care of my dad. Caregiving is no joke. I already had so much respect for those who do this regularly and for more injuries or sicknesses. But man, its been rough mentally for me. I'm not a nurse. I'm just a daughter doing her best to help her dad recover from knee replacement surgery. He's doing okay. Ups and downs. He HATES feeling like an invalid. I told him, you're not. I'm just helping you until you heal. But it's hard. Hard seeing him like this. Praying it gets better fast. It'll be 1 week post op tomorrow.
