It's funny, I remember back in the playoffs in 2011 when we had Muller the first time. There was an argument that broke out between the two benches and I remember Muller screaming back and forth with Julien and then Muller screaming "**** off!" at him.

I wonder if that came up in conversation when he came back.

My final post on DD.
DD carved himself a 250 point career. He landed a 14 million dollar contract. He started in the ECHL and made it a long way. I commend him for his accomplishments. He is truly not an NHL caliber top 9 player because he is too small, too easy to play against and surprisingly slow for a small player.

I wish him well.

As the one who originally brought DD into this conversation let me say, he was a really good player as long as he was utilized correctly.
My original post was comparing using Byron in the top 6 to using DD in the top 6, and I stand by that. Neither of them have any place playing on the top 2 lines.
In his day DD was just as productive, energetic, and helpful as Byron is now, but that doesn't change the fact they are/were both bottom 6 players.

Now let's all move on and watch some hockey...

Excited to have Julien at the helm. It will take several games for him to see what needs to be fixed

I'd honestly rather have Kypreos than Healy, Stock or Cox, though. I mean, I'd rather do without them all, but I'd rather Kypreos other the others.

Same here. Kypreos can be awkward as hell sometimes, but he's doesn't come off as annoying as PJ Stock. Stock just doesn't have anything good to say about anything at all times.

He also hit the 400 game mark which means he'll get an NHL pension & benefits.

I lump them all into the same waste bin, so they are interchangeable pieces of garbage really.
