If you’ve watched this game, you’d know those figures are inaccurate. Fred has seen more than 1 high danger shot. He is playing well. This is not the game to stoke the Freddy is sh!t flame. As of yet at least

Thought so and it makes sense to measure and quantify with a larger sample, but I have trouble suggesting that puck goes in 6% of the time.

A 6% chance of it going in is actually a pretty strong opportunity. I know in reality the chance was better than that due to the situation and pass, but its essentially saying that Fred should have had an opportunity due to WHERE the shot was taken from.

It wasn't close to a goal...If Andersen let that in it would've been a horrible goal against.

agreed, but you also need a goalie who can make saves. Someone else mentioned it. The leafs can play perfect for 18 minutes of the period and have 1 break down and it’s always a goal. Every team has breakdowns but their goals bail them out. Andersen has to start bailing out our defense when they do make a bad play.

but I can’t honestly sit here and say that they have been awful defensively this season. They’ve been alright but it’s just annoying how every time we do have a break down it’s a goal against

Other team's cap isn't tied to 4 guys for 50% of the cap; it is the duty and responsibility of the guys making big bucks to score more. They got paid; time to show up. If they wanted goalie to bail them out then they should have taken less money so we could have invested more in defense and better goalie
