He flat out says he does, doesn't he? He outlines the impact on the bench and talking to linemates as big reasons for dressing Hendricks.Yeah, I meant that Maurice is going to play the players that he thinks will help him win. He might be completely out to lunch about Hendricks' performance, but I highly doubt he'll keep him in the line-up because he's loquacious on the bench.
Sorry that is how Merrimack Hockey Twitter refers to Kovacevic, total of 3 assists tonight. He is also now leading his team in points on the season.
Well, if he keeps her him in the lineup much after this game he's certifiable. Hendricks is flat out awful. He flat out says he does, doesn't he? He outlines the impact on the bench and talking to linemates as big reasons for dressing Hendricks.
Tied for 11th in NCAA defensive scoring.
They posted highlights too
That's Babcocks son scoring the 1st goal for Merrimack

Two of those assists were very meh........the last one was a slick play. Either way the points all count and he is producing very nicely.
I was referring to the nice 3 point night of Kovacevic
In on over half of the 59 PA goals. Impressive stuff!Stalled with 2 assists last night.
He now has 30 points in 17 games and is now 6th in W.H.L scoring.

Stallard needs to be signed before the deadline for CHL prospects (in June?) so as to retain his rights, no?
I hope they don't go full Gennaro on him (if he is willing to sign). We need all the help at C we can get.Prior to June 1 or he re-enters the draft.

That would explain an awful lot.I've heard some rumblings about Gennaro out of PA. I think the Jets reason to not sign him had less to do with on ice play and more to do with character.

I can't really blame them for ensuring that we won't bump into another Kane. Sometimes it comes with the price of skipping over a highly talented prospect, but after stepping on the mine that was Kane, I'm pretty sure I would be more cautious regarding these alleged character issues too. I'm OK with it, as long as the picks we make still amount to enough. That being said, high risk often equals high reward. Just watch Tampa dancing with the infamous Russian factor and making a killing with their picks. Ho-Sang is an excellent example of that as well.Yeah after the whole Kane fiasco I think the Jets are really placing an emphasis on having likeable guys in the locker room for both the staff, fans and players. Laine had some flags before his draft season but killed them off quickly. Sometimes guys get flagged with character issues and you look the other way based on talent, Eichel for instance. Other times they drop in the draft, Ho-Sang, Day and DeAngelo. Merkley has been flagged with some character concerns for this years draft. I'm expecting him to drop. Some teams tend not to care about these concerns both NYI and NYR seem to be all in on drafting those types in the later 1st.

Aside from Stanley and Kovacevic, are there other recent and kind-of-obvious cases of character being heavily in play with us picking a prospect?
