Lol I went all-in on the Bombers straight up at -700, watched some Modern Family with the wife, tuned in to see we were down 22-0 and Collaros was out. So I said to hell with it, we watched another few episodes, and now see the score.

Wasn’t scared for a second!
I told my dad at half time I'd bet 250 bucks on the bombers if I could live bet.

Fun game to watch - at times anyway...

Dry Brown looked decent but Edmonton had also taken their foot off the gas a bit... but that's what we did with Ottawa so hey them the breaks

Character win. Overcame a lot, and Brown looks solid.

Hope Collaros gets better soon - nasty bellyflop to the head should be a suspension in my books, even if it was unintentional. D Line needs to be responsible for any head contact, especially since he was going down by contact anyway, and we need zelo tolerance. Concussions can destroy lives, not just careers...

Tre Ford ain't it, qnd you will find no bigger supporter of canadian qbs than me - great runner though - if he can become more of a runner than a thrower, maybe he can find success in the CFL.

He hit I think one pass outside of garbage time 10 yards plus down field, and I think only one 15 yards deep all game.

Dru sure has his head on straight...

No clichés in that boy...

Tre Ford was 190, 50 rushing with a td and an int - no idea why everyone is anointing him as the savior of the elks.

Maybe if he was 190/100 I'd get it, but that stat line is quite uninspired, considering a plurality of those passing yards came from a flat pass that the receiver took for a td.

great game from brown, 3 bad plays led to most of their points/yards but we were able to overcome that, praying zach is alright

Wild, exciting game.

Hope Zach is okay. Dru Brown looked iffy early on but just kept getting better and better. He had ice in his veins in the fourth quarter. I know it’s just Edmonton, but outscoring them 38-7 with Brown is nuts. We might be okay with him, but I really want Collaros back. Not sure how you don’t call that roughing the passer either. Clearly unnecessary contact to the QB’s head, they call much weaker stuff all the time.

Oliveira, Demski, Schoen, Lawler is just unreasonably good. There’s no way they can all be shut down at once. Lawler’s TD catch was something else, man.

Wanna give Oliveira some extra love. He’s an Andrew Harris clone at this point. I was down on him early last year and he’s proving me so wrong. What a beast.

I thought Ford looked pretty good, all things considered. Incredible that he wasn’t given a chance weeks ago. It is Chris Jones, though …

I had a bad feeling about this game but we got past the trap. As long as Zach is fine this overall a positive result, I don’t care too much about how it started and honestly it shows great character how they fought back and it’s great experience for Brown.

I don’t think he was very good (hell, I’m the guy that keeps saying Chad Kelly isn’t very good) but Cornelius and company are so remarkably bad that they’re somehow worse.
