I'm far from a bomber Homer, but the decision to award MOP to Kelly over Brady was complete horseshit, and voters should be ashamed of themselves.

By no metric was Kelly "most outstanding" this season.

And this would have been true even if he had a great game in the east final.

There was a very clear top 3 teams this year. Chad Kelly played exactly 1 game against the other two.

At least the Argos got what they deserve after keeping him on the bench against the bombers. Kelly was horrible in the only game of consequence they played all year…

There was an argument for Betts in the West showdown, hell most years Cam Judge would have been a leading contender for MOC as well out west. Tre Ford could have had a case as a QB as well. But against Dequoy absolutely 100% that should have been unanimous, I'd bet the MTL writers voted Dequoy specifically just to make it not unanimous.

Lol he isnt even the Draisaitl of the cfl.

It's really incredible how much gassing up the Argos happened this season.

They played, like 3 meaningful games all year - it was a polarizing season with good teams beating up on the bad ones, and the Argos schedule meant they weren't challenged at all.

Which is why them losing in the east final was so satisfying, and I have no problem with Dinwiddie as coach of the year.

And as I said, I'm far from a bomber Homer, I think mtl winning would be a great story, I planted my flag on Fajardo Island (i have since sold my plot, lol), and stanback has been a super-fun player to watch over the years.

This Bombers team has way too good a pass rush to allow mtl to win, and Fajardo tends to take a lot of sacks, so I'm predicting a bit of a crushing performance by wpg, but if mtl can pull off another miracle, that would be pretty fun imo

It's clear MOP has become "qb on best team" award, which is why it should be re-named, or the CFL voters need to pull their heads out of their asses.
