MBN about Wings struggle: "Looks like I need to head over there to help them out".
Perhaps Yzerman called him lol
I wouldn't mind both him and ASP getting away from Skelleftea this year Woof.
Another view of the shootout goal. Buch added an assist in the game as well
And it was a nice one

He needs to first help out his current team.
The Wings wanted him to stay and play in GR. He had the option and chose Skellefteå AIK. That level of commitment/caring needs to carry over on to the ice.Depends on how much he cares about that team, he'll probably be gone after this season, the entire team is pretty bad. But at least MBN is by far the most physical player there, 24 hits in 15 games. I guess this kind of energy is something the Wings could use.

I have caught maybe 5 or 6 periods of Toledo hockey this year and I didn't pay close enough attention to really evaluate him further than making a mental note that he big and looks like a goal scorer at the ECHL level which his stat line seems to back up. Maybe a guy that can help the Griffins eventually? This season Toledo doesn't seem to have any prospects with a real chance at the NHL, the most interesting are Bednar and Gylander and they really don't seem like anything special but you never know with goalies.Has anyone seen Carson Bantle in Toledo? He’s 6:05 215 or so and has nine goals so far. Unfortunately no assists. I think he’s one of our signees
Emmitt finnie didnt make team canada world junior camp roster... expected but think was a mistake
Noticed like 12 forwards 5'11 and under... cant see them doing much this tournament ... anyone seen other countries pre rosters ??
I dont know man seen a dozen 5'11 forwards and under... I'd have to look at all the rosters but I'd have to think u.s has a good shotSucks he didn't get the invite for sure but when guys like Sennecke didn't get them its hard to be too upset about it.
As for not seeing them do much this tournament? Their line up will be absolutely stacked this year, should be one of the better rosters they've had in a while.
Its the world juniors not the Stanley cup playoffs. But even so, they don't have a damn invited under 6 feet and based on who should likely make it, their D will have an average size of close to 6'2. 4 of their locks on forward are all above 6 feet. Their D would be considered big in the NHL lolI dont know man seen a dozen 5'11 forwards and under... I'd have to look at all the rosters but I'd have to think u.s has a good shot
That's fair enough on the d ... I still think you need some size upfront and you mentioned sennecke ,its a headscratcher hes not on the rosterIts the world juniors not the Stanley cup playoffs. Cowan, Barkey and Howe are all under 6 feet but will be 3 of the more difficult guys to play against in the entire tourney if they all make it as well (I think 2 of 3 will). Luchanko isn't a soft player either. Size is not a concern at all for this team.
The US definitely has a good shot, but that doesn't mean Canada isn't stacked. And Canada definitely wont be a small team
It wouldn't be Team Canada if there weren't complaints about the roster. More complaints this year because it's a particularly stacked pool of players, no surprise Finnie didn't make the cut for selection camp. Hockey Canada can be guilty of over-thinking things and leave off skilled players and that is the case this year, too. They rarely pick what might be seen as an all-star team. A second team with Sennecke, Iginla, Misa, Hage, Parekh, Yakemchuk, Finnie, etc along with cuts this year might be more skilled than the team selected. Of course U.S. has a good shot, they almost always do, but there's nothing really lacking in Team Canada roster and McKenna is special, perhaps Schaefer and Martone too. Goaltending is always a huge factor and hard to predict. If they don't win, it won't be because they're not big enough.
