He scored today, but almost every time he was on ice something happened. Still needs to get strongerI don't think Buchelnikov even has an empty net goal this year, not sure what you mean
Buchelnikov has 19 points in 22 games (might not be counting today's game). If Berggren was making stuff happen, and generating points, no one would have an issue with him. Problem is Berggren might be working hard, but nothing is coming of it regardless of where he lines up.Buchelnikov remind me Berggren, creates something all the time , only scores en

But I think that's been the issue for the Wings as a whole. I see people talk about them being lazy...I don't think they are being lazy. I see a lot of guys skating and working out there but I don't see a whole lot of chemistry.

He is playing on the third line with horrible this season Tarasenko. Trade Tarasenko and bring Elmer for couple of games, then try Lombardi. Lombardi is a very good prospect , but he needs another year in GR, but just for couple of games bring him in. Trade Tarasenko and replace him with ether Elmer , Lombardi or MazurWhat Berggren are you watching? He has created very few chances with the Wings so far this season. He had the nice assist on Tank's goal and a couple other decent passes, but that is about it so far.
Nah, the pain is the only way I feel things now.you have a seriously enlarged heart and should probably see someone about it.

Agree with this. Effort is mostly pretty good, including from Berggren. Main issue IMO is that with the Ed-Seider pairing getting close to the same extreme defensive usage as Seider had last season, and the other two pairs not having a lot of skill, it's pretty much entirely up to every line's devices to create chances. It's just very difficult to do that when the D is mostly a non-factor offensively, and on balance there is less skill up front than last season. With recent line shuffle, they are down to one line that can be counted on to create anything on their own, and one pair that, if they can get up-ice from all their d-zone starts, has enough skill to contribute to creating chances.
There have been good stretches and IMO they are improving at moving the puck out of their end, but they are really going to have to count on their PP to generate enough goals to compensate for ES issues.
Yeah I like AlJo and we'll see how he grows during the season. I mean, it's early. There is still lots of time to take a look at potential solutions, including more tinkering with all lines and giving AlJo a bigger role, hopefully sooner than Game 60.Hopefully by the last 20 games or so Al Jo has won the coaches confidence and is looking good on the second pairing.
