Caught the 3rd period + OT of LIF and AIK

MBN didn't get to play in OT (go figure) but he had a pretty solid 3rd period

ASP had a couple point shots, was aggressive defensively. Solid play. However it seemed like Pudas played 100 years in the 3rd + OT

26ish... he was 27 going on 28 .. go look at Colorado's roster that year. Who was Gonna take over that role that season? Rodrigues?cogliano? Newhook?

I'd say they're were no other options. Same like here. My point is hes not a top 2c and the reason he got 50 pts was cause those teams had no other options but to play him.

He'll go back to his 30-35 pt self in a year or 2 and drop down. You don't agree that's cool its your opinion. I also got sh*t for hating copp signing day 1 it happened and now everyone wants him gone

Will I always be right? Nope... I also dont care what ppl think. If you or others think hes the 2c we need to win, Cool
Regardless of what I think of Compher, your logic just doesnt make sense. I would like a better 2C than Compher.... but saying hes not a 50 point guy because he only gets 50 points when hes on good teams or bad teams is a ridiculous argument

On which account was that?
dont recall if it was here or twitter... who cares lol why would I make that up ... another 40ish pt career guy everyone believed was a future 2 c of the team and we'd be saved lmao ... ppl can believe me If they want I wont lose any sleep

I wanted wallstedt badly and cossa has been outstanding this season ... I wont say I was wrong yet cause it's way too soon and I think wallstedt can be good but it's looking that way. Either way we got a good goalie coming

You can think it's ridiculous and disagree all you want. Couldn't care less .... there was no other option in Colorado that season and none here

Colorado were gonna put cogliano newhook as 2 c? We gonna put a failure copp again at 2 c, rookie in kasper? How much longer do you think he"ll be a 2c here for ? One more year if hes lucky and kasper isn't ready?

So for 2-3 years of his career he was 2c so that makes him a 2c ....ok. Anyways like I said dont agree with me its all good ... agree to disagree

Come back in a year or 2 and see if hes 2c
What a snipe in tight space from that angle

Nice . Hopefully he keeps it going and starts racking up the goals . Lord knows we need him to be good

It sucks having an argument with someone when you have an overwhelming desire to make sense and the other party doesn't care to, eh?

Excuse me, are you trying to imply that there are posters on this forum who engage in bad faith arguments?? I’ve been here for a few years now and I’ve never seen anything like that, that sounds crazy.

Man, you don't need to make stuff up to make a point. Compher was not signed to be the future 2C and no one thought we'd be saved if he was. He was signed to be the place-holder for the next 2C, whether it's a Draft pick or another acquisition. He was signed because he might be an immediate upgrade on Copp, the former 2C place-holder, which he was, and help push for a playoff spot, which he did. He was signed also because his versatility could allow him to play on the wing with the future 2C or 3C, particularly if he's a young guy who might need some veteran help on his line. If he's replaced by Kasper or Danielson or both in the next year or two and moves to RW for the rest of his contract, that isn't the gotcha you think it is. It's what everyone with the Wings, probably Compher too, hopes will happen. If they're better than him at C, the team will be better. Compher knows the kids were drafted for a purpose. He's not hoping they bust so that he can stay at 2C.

With the San Jose Sharks...I bet you argue that blue is yellow even if you get the evidence too right?
Walman is okay, good placefiller. I think he is a 4th defenseman. That also can cover on the top line in shorter stints. Would have loved to kept him above some of the other ones. Overall the numbers I would be very surprised if they continue all season, all sample sizes can look really good or really bad so don't put too much into that.
