No, at some point he'll need to actually watch a game and stop boxscore watching for his troll takes. MBN looks better with each game. I'd argue he was one of their best players the last three games. He's going to break through soon enough.

Yeah, stats are not the be-all sign a player is coming along well. Kind of like with Dylan James: he doesn't put up sexy numbers but those of us who watch him know he impacts the game in different ways and may be a useful player (to the Wings) down the road.

He is good, but not good enough for NHL yet. Have never seen Datsyuk in KHL but Buchelnikov has better numbers than Datsyuk.

Buchelnikov really needs to add some muscle to his frame, imo. The highest I've seen him listed at is 170 and the pictures we had of him over the summer made him look small. Size isn't everything, but I can't imagine him being able to translate to the NHL at that weight.

I'm not saying I don't like the kid or his upside, just that I think he needs to get bigger.

I was looking at our past drafts and I didnt realize how bad our d pool suddenly is lol ... we have seider and edvinsson thank god and hope pelikka is great

After that its question Mark's... better hope wallinder makes it but he needs a bigger role this season and a look in the NHL. After that buium is next best bet

After whipple?Cleveland? Viro's a goner tuomisto at best is a 6-8 guy ... we should be trying to get lucky and target someone before a breakout like wild did with faber. Even someone up front

Cozens is struggling but I doubt sabres move him. Quinn? I liked peterka to get seider a german buddy and we took wallinder. He'd look great in a wings uniform... anyways hes not moving

Zegras 2 assists in 9 games I think...yzerman probably wouldnt make a move but he wont come so high as hes struggling and I like his upside

I'd have to check the d's ... I was listening to a French podcast and the guy said out of the top 100 scorers something like 7-10% of the guys played like 1or 2 years in the ahl. Basically anyone who plays more than 2 yrs and is like 22+ likely never becomes impactful nhl guy

Basically our Hope's all on nygard and buchelnikov lmao ... I'd be burying lombardi in ice time to see if he can explode this season cause outside of him its meh. Danielson unless he turns it around asap and collects pts will prob be a 3c. We might need to target someone elsewhere and hope they break out here. And not a 3-4 teams already failed perlini type

You have 3 guys that will be under 25 pencilled in to the roster. Then there’s Johansson already on the team and a handful of more “maybe’s”. If you’re expecting to have 5-6 more current prospects be Detroit red wings, you’re gonna have a bad time

Been saying for the longest time this is where we were headed by delaying the kids lol ... we're gonna be going through some growing pains but what would you prefer???

We're never gonna win with the likes of copp and compher's and that atrocious d core.

Edvinsson Kasper and johansson looks like they'll be getting full season experience by next year which is the right call. Next year add danielson and mazur.

If cossa and pellikka continue to dominate they should make it. Have to stop delaying the inevitable

You forgot AnJo, might be a pleasent surprise or not. Wallinder will be good, he's been a long term project since day 1. He's been improving every season, slow and steady. So i wouldn't say it's bad, Seider, Ed and AlJo already in and within 2 years ASP & Wallinder. 5 spots filled, the final 2 spots could go to vets, Trouba & Chiarot ......

And physicality is what i want , moving Veleno alone createst enough space. Tank has NTC and Chiarot has 10-team no trade list. Cap situation is looking great overall 18,3 mil for next season and no big extensions to sign.

I dont know how it be possible cause Colorado has a ton of injuries and they're keeping money incase landeskog comes etc... but If it was possible to get a late 1st for compher going back + buium provided he resigns x4 lets say I'd do it
