Overpaid bottom 6 players who have 0 future on this team. I dont care copp got a puck off a leg and scored and has a few pts hes a 4th liner here with all the kids coming up shortly

Copp is trending up lately, he did second line much better . Compher has 4 more years, he probably will decline by the end of his contract , meanwhile we have Rasmussen who looks like a garbage this year and 5 third pair defansman, 3 average goalies and rising star Cossa. So we have plenty guys who should be traded before Compher

I have been a Copp hater in the past as well, but so far this season, he isn't the problem, he has produced some.
On the topic of prospects, Jesse Kiiskinen is out ~4 weeks with an injury. Also, a massive shoutout to @LGRWProspects on Twitter for keeping everyone in the know about everything prospects: it's worth the follow.
Hes nothing more than a 40ish pt guy. Dont disagree we have plenty of guys who should be moved before compher but who's taking them ???

Dont even think we can move tarasenko now with his extra year attached. Compher maybe cause he can play center but the guys never hit anything close to 50 pts till he played on a very strong avs team. Once the kids come he'll be as bottom 6 overpaid player with lackluster numbers

Ya zero chance avs are dealing Ritchie lol but I like your way of thinking. We have to target 18-23 yr olds with upside before they breakout and teams obviously wont move them

Compher had 19 goals and 48 points in 77 games last year on the wings. Whats your definition of close to 50 pts?

He got 48 pts cause we had no one else to go top 6 cause we suck atm and rebuild not done . He'll be demoted when the kids come up soon and be a 30-40 pt guy. Are we suppose to pretend hes a legit top 6 guy cause be is atm

Re Compher: Sam Bennett has never had a 50-point season. Are we supposed to pretend he's not a SC winning No. 2 C?
Who's the better all around player?? Which player would GM's prefer?? Who's got double production in the playoffs? Who'll get the much bigger contract ??

Bennett is also on pace for 20+ goal seasons 4 years in a row since joining florida

Look, you're all over the map on this one. Dismissing Compher as a 2C because he's not a 50 point C,, when he has not only had a 50-point season, he's averaged exactly 50 points the previous two seasons. Saying he could only be a 2C on a garbage team, when he's been a 2C the previous two years for teams that were not garbage teams. For his career, Compher is a 40ish point guy, so is Bennett. Their career production rate is almost identical. The last two years Compher's been a 50-point guy, but you've got excuses for both those years. Denny Green had a good quote about that.
Sure, Bennett is a more impactful player. No one said he isn't. I mentioned him only to draw attention to your complaint about Compher not being a "real" 50-point C. As Bennett has proved, you don't need to be to help your team win. He's way more physical and that works in playoffs. So what? A team that isn't going to win the SC can't use a guy who produces at exactly the same rate as Bennett in the regular season with similar (or better) defensive ability but isn't the same level of shit-disturber? He's going to get paid more next season and that's proof of anything except the Cap is going up and even low-scoring 2Cs are hard to find?
Compher never even hit 40 pts once in his career until he hit 50 as a 28 yr old on one of the top teams. Bennett woke up since he hit florida at 25 and and is basically a 20+ guy yearly now and is over a pt a game this season
They're not even close . Compher is a 2c here cause our team is bad. I dont even know who the sharks 2c is but just cause hes a 2c there doesn't automatically make him a 2c.
Compher will likely already be a 3c next season if kasper progresses and his stats will further decline, where as bennett will continue to be 2c
