Danielson was great at preseason , but he doesn't play same way anymore. To me he is just separating games where he should or should not show up. I hope I am wrong , but Danielson is just another Mantha.
Danielson still could be good NHLer , but I don't expect him to be great

Do you watch him play?? Brandon’s D doesn’t move the puck. It’s literally 175-200’ rushes by their forwards constantly. It’s frustrating to watch. Danielson is just fine, and nothing like Anthony Mantha. Like they literally have no similar traits.

Sure. And seems right looking at the numbers, but people who are watching nat say he's fine and playing the right way. Mantha on the other hand was the only eligible option to score 50 that year, and at 6'5 still fell to 20. I don't love the inconsistent play from nat, but I must disagree with the comparables none the less.

Why are people constantly saying he plays on a crappy team. They are basically mid pack in their league, so that isn't really something that makes Danielson look better, because the team "sucks". Not like he is on a bottom 1-5 team.

It feels like most of the current roster is predicated on offense, and several of the exciting prospects are on defense. It should be interesting to watch how things unfold over the next few years, who has what impact in the NHL, how the roster dynamic changes, and what trades or free agents are used to bolster things.

This whole "starting to git gud again" thing is fun.
