Plante with a goal and an assist last night and now up to 12 points in 9 games in the NCAA as an 18-year old.
Do we think there is a chance we bring him over as a one-and-done like Larkin, or do we let him get another year in? I'm good with another year so he can grow a little bit, Larkin was I think 180 when we signed him. Plante is 180 right now actually, according to the UMDB website.

Interesting either way.

Has ASP not returned to the SHL yet after the World Juniors? Been really quiet on him

Team in front of him has been soupy dog excrement. As has been the coaching. Iowa needs to fire McLean into the sun and find someone new. And Wally came up a few games back. However, the Wild had 3 of their top 4 D out with injury, so not a fair assessment. Admittedly, he's not be amazing, but don't count on his stat line for a reliable measuring stick as he hasn't been as bad as it would seem. Like another poster said, still up in the air.
Im thinking you're a Minny fan based on your location. Its not me saying Wallstedt is for sure a bust or cant be better... there was a large chunk of fans on this board that from draft day onwards made it seem like Wallstedt the obvious pick, even with Bob Mckenzie saying it was like a 60-40 split amongst scouts at draft time.

They wouldn't shut up about it, even when Cossa was coming around and developing. Now they've disappeared since Cossa has been playing like a stud. No one saying I was wrong or that they're happy that Cossa is turning it on either. My post is much less directed at Wallstedt than those posters and Cossas development
