My guy said “when your goaltending bails you out in key situations, *or just make the standard saves* …” SHOTS FIRED!!!Just watched, at the start of the goalie talk I was like well this aint bad...then it kept going. An yeah, he shit on our goaltending, rightfully so. Glad someone said it
Nope. He meant PP and he said exactly that.We had a what when?!? I missed this interview coming home from being appreciated, but, yeah, that’s not really true. You sure he didn’t mean the PK? Because that’s actually more true about the PK but not the PP. There’s a reason one ended up 28th and the other 14th.
And at it’s best the PK had great underlying metrics and was shockingly successful considering what our goaltending was like.
The metrics of the PK always were blah even when it got hot, the GF/60 perked up because players shot incredibly well and that was literally the only reason.
They shot 15.29% between Oct 15th to Nov 15th. They had 17th GF/60 & 28th xGF/60.
They shot a crazy low 3.92% between Nov 15th to Dec 15th. They had 32nd GF/60 & 24th xGF/60.
They shot a sweet 20.00% between Dec 15th to March 15th. They had 6th GF/60 & 18th xGF/60.
They shot 7.25% since March 15th. They have 32nd GF/60 & 32nd xGF/60.
Do they have the Ruff interview from these? So we can see his “2.5 months of a top-5 power play” comment?Main - MSGNetworks.com

I still love this quote. We didn't really draft Zetterlund our trainers just took Bratt's DNA and made a chungus version
Should be his middle name.Shoot the puck Bratt
Like I said everyone had big year. Moore career 4. liner had 48 for LA this season lmaoNico hit 60 points!!!!

I never said he was a 3. liner, I'm saying 60 points this year is nothing special. So 60 for a 3C is about right then.
For context, Nico played 11 fewer games than Moore.
What will be look his contract? I mean he had a great season but so did everyone else in the league. Last year if he had this kind of season he would get close to 8m, i wouldn't give him 7m or more now.
Agree. Maybe 6.25 per. No way he gets nico money
It depends how you slice the baloney. As a forward playing more than 45 gane she was something like 76 in terms of points per gsne but as a center playing 45 games or more he was 29th.I never said he was a 3. liner, I'm saying 60 points this year is nothing special.

Honestly, I think most of us could use that break after this shitshow. I'll pop in for the lottery, draft, and FAs, but there's really no need to twist ourselves into a pretzel over things we've argued about for six months already.I’m going to take a long break if this GDT is anything like what the next few months will bring.
Meh. He’s just a 3C when you think about it. I mean (names from really good teams that score a ton and get similar ice time to Hischier and have better linemates) play 3C on their teams. Trade him for (unrealistic player or player who will demand a much bigger contract or potentially walk in a year as a UFA).60 pts in 70 games is a 70-pt pace in 82 games. That’s absolutely great for Nico considering the role he plays. People wanted production plus all the hard matchups. He just delivered.
