Rangers signed a American.
Cheap deal to what the going prices r.
London got their deal early. Didn't have to deal with these prices.
Early bird..
London paid real well for Cam Allan, but i think they stole their goalie from the West !

Moving injured Outwater is a courtesy move. He's out for the year and Bowler likely agrees he will not be a OA here next year. Injured player with history of repeat injuries has little value in the trade department. More like I'll give you my headache for 1 of yours. Outwater much closer to home (ottawa) in say Kingston .

I've been around quite a while, although you wouldn't think so from my date joined (been here way longer, got a new phone and couldn't recover my old username.) I'm well aware of his schtick but he definitely has some sort of personal problem with ohltg and why he uses these boards to make it obvious is beyond me.

Been going on now for the better part of a decade!

Likely a "I'll report to London " Barrie had earlier waiver pick than London so Hunter Likely said pick him up and I'll reward you with a draft pick. Yes, smart move by Hunter.

I think that's how it went down.
Pick him up and we'll take him as opposed to picking him up and looking for a suitor.

Rumblings that BB is playing poker being smart and using the desired player(s) who are playing with their hand with their Gms with the Spits as a preferred destination.

They need to have another deal lined up to move out an OA though.

I've said all along that if they're going after Konnor (or most other OAs), I would imagine Abraham is the odd-man out. Just because a deal is made for Konnor at the 11th hour doesn't mean another isn't on the way out, too. Heck, Bowler made so many moves last season we could barely keep up.

Sorry, I'm not following what this means... ?!

Not a problem this year so far..

If Bowler is getting McNamara it could be a sign he is playing it safe this season. The prices get more and more absurd every year. They have the division won already so he might be conservative.

If the Spellacy rumours are true (not saying they are, I have no clue), then he could probably make something work to get one of the expensive d -man in a trade. Seems quiet out there. If a player is only willing to waive his NTC for Windsor, the price could drop.

If player A says if you want to trade me, I want to go to Windsor, the price can lower. Well some still dislike the Wright deal. It was last hour and we got him cheaper than most big trades that year. We paid 11 picks for Holmes and Harrison 4 2nds 4 3rds plus

Deal were questionable.
Wasn't what Windsor needed.

Makes sense, I appreciate it! I'm probably one of the few that disliked the Harrison deal more than the Wright one, at least looking back on them both.

Agree 100% Wright, was good for us, we just never got past round 1. Wasn't his fault. Onuska and rookie at the Joey were not good. A GAA over 4 will not win playoff hockey. Defensive structure under Savard was not goid either to help the goalies.

Defense "was" overlooked..

I don’t expect them to stand pat. This is the day BB gets off the pot. My expectation is we shore up the D for next year at the cost of this years forward group. I ‘d be surprised if BB doesn’t make 3 deals.
