Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Sucks we didnt get Smith but considering what Brampton used to get him im a lil less worried about it lol. The East is looking a lot more interesting now it seems that most of the places acquiring the good players are going there lol. Also im ok with the McNamara rumours im cool if he comes here. Seem like an Outwater-esque player but with a but less injury concerns. Decent 3rd line option. Hoping we go for Petrovski or Young now.
Remember to obtain Smith and OA would have to go before or to Owen Sound. Was a trade blocked by a NTC or just plain too expensive. While the East teams are playing bidding war the West is eerily quiet for buyers once a few big fish are swallowed BB may be able to obtain a couple of B+ OR A- players 05's or an 07 preferably.

I would have loved to have seen Konnor here but seven picks is a lot and would have hurt the team down the road.
Smith was always a fantasy. OS gave up a lot to get him last year. They weren't going to settle for a couple picks and a OA swap. OS made their intentions known when they moved Barlow 4 months ago. You could reach a deal for Smith but you need to find a partner to take one of your OAs.
I don’t even love moving out Abraham, Morneau or Mathurin for KSmith… plus all the picks along with it?
Now if it was next year and we had a Martin/Outwater/Winegard type eating an OA spot, I’m more willing to upgrade.
I still like Young out of Sarnia but they may be standing still? He’s an undrafted 05’ that should be back. His production this year is unfortunate because it probably drives up his price. If Sarnia plans to make waves next year, I can see them hanging on. They have 6 05’s rostered but aside from Wainwright I don’t know who they bring back as an OA.

Well he moved out of his billet house, so he’s going somewhere.
Honestly, not mad if nothing happens.
McNamara isn’t all that appealing to me and should he be here, I hope he does well.
I don’t think a top 9 depth option being added is a bad idea… but I feel like someone with McNamaras production could be produced from within, or found with unproven OHL experience and brought into the league and put up .5PPG.
I mean Lemieux is at .56 PPG, 3 years younger.
McNamara looks like a 4th line guy on this team that slots in when Gaymes or Martins out with a suspension for fighting again lol

The trouble with 4 rookie forwards out of 12 with Outwater out in playing regularly an injury to another vet or 2 really can hamper things which is why I am in favor of this trade should it be announced.
Windsor announced for a 5th. Low cost, low risk, hope he does well.
I like that good move.
For a guy no team guess wanted, that a decent deal. Low cost for sure.

I feel like Bowlers got a “someone drafted him first once, there must be something there” mentality. I hope this one works out. Seems our 15th round picks do better lol.
I like Peer and Morneau better than Castle and Outwater.

Ya he can play the 3-4th line minutes that Outwater use to play and at a low cost.
I think it was assumed, but Jim Parker and posted Outwaters done for the year.

Won't be any USHL fliers this year. Players can't hide behind that with the new NCAA rules. Kids will more likely get drafted where they fit in the draft.
Pushed out of his Midget JRC team, moved out of Saggy as a vet in a Mem Cup host year, and now moved out as a vet on Kingston team that wishes to contend in the East. Doesn’t have a good reputation amongst players. I’m more concerned with the impact within the room than fitting on the 3rd or 4th line.

Of course you do. If another team made that move considering the baggage I'm sure it would be a different take by yourself.
