WINDSOR
All true. Kid should be front and center this year after deadline. I don't think Torres ever wanted HC aspirations. He would have taken a HC job before now.

How are Windsor’s 2007 born players looking?

Jack Nesbitt has been average

Adrian Manzo’s stats look promising in the GOJHL, should be an option for next season?

Lavigne is a big boy, his stats look terrible but I assume he is a defensive guy? Do we think he has a roster spot next year?

Unless Easton Pace decides to report, the rest of the 2023 class doesn‘t look good.

Could we have more first year players than usual next year?

This team is going to have to come together bond and play solid hockey here over the last 25 games or so if they are to sneak into 8th. As much as id love to say tank and get a great player in the top 4 picks its just not in my competitive nature to watch/play games to lose. Really hope to see us sneak into 8th but if not some of these prospects look promising and would be thrilled to add.

Spits started off sluggish but have rounded back into playing solid hockey. Going to need to see that continue and take it up a notch here in the second if we are to pull out Two points this evening.

Go Spits Go!!🍻

You should have 3 to 4 08s in the lineup, need to find maybe a player who didn't get drafted as an 07 see what he has. If Eichler doesn't get drafted take 2 imports. That would be 8 new guys which might be rough next year but needs to be done.

I know some are stoked about 5 guys on nhl draft radar but some of these guys have to start playing much better. Spits had 2 great regular seasons back to back and 1 terrific playoff run. Who were the only drafted players from those years? Johnston, Zito, Cuylle, Maggio, Dionicio. How many were acquired or drafted by Bowler? Dionicio that's it. They won because of players that were elite in the OHL Johnston/Cuylle/Maggio. There's one player like that currently on the roster in Greentree.

Nesbitt has looked okay but is getting mostly fourth-line duty with borderline depth-level OHL guys. i want to see him move up a line or two to see what he's offensively capable of.

Manzo has looked okay in brief stints and should make the roster next season. Lavigne is a stay-at-home, physical guy who's looked okay in even briefer stints. They had a chance to make the Spits this season but the club wanted to get them playing time with LaSalle so other picks made the club, instead. I fully expect both to be in the OHL next season, esp with Toms/Toure gone.

It's not likely to be a great draft but the 2022 draft is looking strong, which helps balance it a bit.

Late in the second whenJoey under seige in front of the net, 74 standing to the side trying to be invisible as usual. That us why I am critical. Duly deserved.

He doesn't cover anyone most of the game

Ohh they were going. One kid can’t win a championship for you sorry. They had 4 lines my friend. 2 really good lines and 2 lines that were better than the other teams 3rd and 4th.
Completely disagree.
2 lines yes. But that was it.

So you're telling me if they take the best player off the team for 2021-2022 they're still making the OHL finals? Well they didn't win a championship except for the conference one. It wasn't because of Johnston or Cuylle.

Woodall at least tries most often to engage and was not a 1st round pick, only has a fraction of games experience compared to 74. 36 career games vs 106!!
True. I think Woodall will be better defensively ( probably is now) but Cristoforo will will be leaned on for his offensive skills. He just needs to find some urgency in his own, if that makes sense.
